I love books. I read and write far more than I will ever EVER draw, and I certainly believe that I write far better than i will ever draw as well. That being said, you realize that I've a throuogh knowledge of books.

I LOVE them, but when's the last time i brought one up? I raved about my English text book for English Comp I from the University of Akron (Still have it) I mean, it was just that AWESOME of a book.

Now, I've got to rave about one I bought myself. It' by a guy named James W. Heisig. Fantasy? Action? Horror? Hell freakin' no.

"Remembering The Kana"

I shit you not on this guys, in a week I've effectively memorized the 46 Hiragana. I've still got to dig into the Katakana - and I'm talking Japanese Language in case I lost somebody - but I don't expect to have any probelms. The way the book is set up, and the way in which this guy attacks the symbols is amazing. I don't think I could say enough. I can't remember what I ate for lunch today, but I can write - without looking - all 46 Hiragana. After 9+ months of trying to get this crap from repetition alone, and failing miserably, this book has given me new hope. Before the end of the week I'll know all the Katakana, I garuntee it.

A nice base of knowledge to have before I even start my first formal Japanese Language class, wouldn't you say?

Just got a notice that my DA subscription is almost expired. Poor babies. If they hadn't banned so many people that I enjoyed watching - FOR NO GOOD DAMNED REASON - then I'd renew it.

But, they did, so I'm not.


Once DA gets their collective heads out of their collective asses, maybe we can talk. Until then, long live Chazdragoon. T_T I miss him, he was so entertaining XD
